The development of function consciousness is one of the most important teaching contents in the educating target on the teaching of mathematics. The thesis starts from the function concept and emphasizes on the process of teaching, especially on the occurrence, development of the results and the understanding of the applying process .It solves the problem of abstract function and also comes up with the decisive part that mathematics language plays. At the same time, it points out that the understanding, translating ability and flexibility of use of mathematics language should be contained in every aspect of daily teaching. In that way it emphasizes that the development of thinking is deeply based on the basic knowledge and skills. The text connects each chapter and mold teaching, pointing out that the function concept enhances the basic theory of function and becomes the substance of function consciousness and thinking ability. In teaching, teachers should teach the students to create a situation in which the students observe, probe and study problems by themselves rather than simply imitate. On the basis of deep understanding of the principles, it enhances the mold and method to a higher degree, in which way, the students'thinking ability can be deeply developed and the mathematics educating quality can be truly enhanced. Therefore, it realizes the development of function consciousness. The text blends the development of function consciousness in each link, which discloses that the mathematics thinking method and the concrete mathematics knowledge is organic and connected, and they depend on each other and develop mutually.
