The aim of higher vocational education is serving the modernization of socialist,it's purpose is cultivating senior qualified personnal directly involved in production,construction, management, and serving. During the period of the eleventh five-yearplan, higher vocational education will cultivate more than 11 millions graduates forour country. It's purpose location determine the significance of honesty and crediteducation in higher vocational college.Honesty and credit is one of the traditional virtues of our Chinese people inthousand years. As a moral principle, it is not only the most foundational quality as ahuman being, but also the most important public morality which maintaining andpromoting the development of socio-economic. It is the root of ethics and thefoundation of modern civilization.The students in higher vocational college are main forces in future production,construction, management, and serving. Their state of honest and credit not onlyaffects whether they can involve in society as a positive power, obtain confidencefrom others and realize their self-value, but also reflect the general level of moral inour society in certain degree, directly affect the rapidly development and constructionof harmony society.However, the current condition of honesty and credit in higher vocational collegeis not appreciated, various kinds of dishonesty occurs frequently. So it is important tostrengthen honesty and credit education in higher vocational college, and cultivatemodern employments with ethic and public mority of honesty and credit. It is ofpractical and long-term significance in improving the quality of the whole people,enhancing our national power, constructing harmony society, and realizing ournational rejuvention to strengthen honesty and credit education in higher vocationalcollege students.The current research on honesty and credit in our country mainly involve theconnotation, value, history carding of honesty and credit and the comparison ofhonesty and credit culture between our country and abroad, as well as the significanceof honesty and credit. The researchers in different fields have made a great deal ofachievements from various points of views, which made a solid foundation for furtherresearch. However, it has not yet formed a systemic and complete system on honestyand credit education in college students, especially in higher vocational collegestudents. This dissertation is just from the point of honesty and credit education inhigher vocational college students, think deeply the counter measures in honesty andcredit educating in higher vocational college. The whole thesis can be divided intofour parts.Part 1:define the concept of "honesty and credit" and the concept of "honesty andcredit education" in contemporary era.Part 2: elaborate the significance of honesty and credit education in highervocational college. Firstly, apply comparative research method, through thecomparation of cultivation aims of higher vocational college and ordinary university,elaborate the importance of honesty and credit education in higher vocational college.Secondly, from the point that market-oriented economy is the economy ruling by lawand credit, elaborate the necessity of honesty and credit education in higher vocationalcollege. Third, from the serious situation of dishonesty and discredit in highervocational college, elaborate the urgency of honesty and credit education in highervocational college.Part 3: reflection of current situation of honesty in higher vocational college.Firstly, apply the method of investigation, sort out the main behaviors of dishonesty inhigh vocational college. Secondly, through the reflection of dishonesty, apply logicaldeduction method, analyses deeply the main reasons causing dishonesty. From theview outside education, the first is scientism overstep it's authority, which lead to thelack of moral belief;the second is economism overflowing, which lead to out-and-outindividualism;the third is inperfection of current rules and systems, which encouragethe deed of dishonesty. From the view inside education, the first is untilitarianismeducation ideology, which ignoring student's entity;the second is the education styleof instill, which result in action divorced from knowledge.Part4: put forward viable proposal and measures on honesty and credit educationin higher vocational college. Apply the method of documents analysis, throughqualitative analysis of documents, in the light of the causes of dishonesty, put forwardstratrgem of honesty and credit education in higher vocational education. First, assiststudent-centered education ideology, emphasize on student's entity. Second, assist theeducation style of "based on practice", come back to students' life world. Third,strengthen teachers' moral, encourage the example study in students through bringingthe teacher's example function into full play. Fourth, strengthen the construction ofsystem, optimize the circumstance of education. In the excellent campus circumstance,through judging independently, learning from students' own experience, choosing ontheir own, practicing consciously, the students will enhance awareness of honesty,strengthen the faith on honesty and credit, cultivate consciously habit of honesty andcredit, re-portray merit of honesty and credit.
