Since the beginning of the modern age, the education type of the science doctrine has predominated the educational reform and development in our country. As a result, the process of education is considered as a cognitive one and the most important goal of education is to teach knowledge and develop the related intelligence skill. Compared with prosperous education type of the science doctrine , the traditional education of Chinese culture is neglected over a long period of time and the education of the traditional humanities spirit and moral ethics lacks seriously.In the 21st century culture is diversified and economics becomes globalization, and then the abuse of the education type of the science doctrine appears gradually. What's more, numerous modern countries start to think much of the educational value of traditional culture .As an ancient country of civilization, facing more furious traditional and modern conflicts in the 21st century, our teaching staff should think over how we can expand the good tradition of the Chinese culture under the present condition, develop the educational value of the Chinese classic works value, set up the national self-confidence of the culture and improve the cohesion of the whole nation. In order to finish this paper, I carried on the questionnaire with the help of all the teachers and students in our school , analyze the teaching examples and compare the data I have collected, etc.This paper provides the method of reading some Chinese classics for students in primary schools and its education results, analyze the educational value of reading Chinese classics in the stage of primary school from different angles of view, such as psychology, pedagogy and sociology...etc., show some problems in modern education and think deeply of these problems. This paper is divided into four chapter: In the first chapter I analyze the forms and meanings of reading the Chinese classics on the basis of understanding the concept and scope of the Chinese classics and combining the educational fulfillment, explain and analyze the domestic and international research condition at present and provide the method of reading some Chinese classics for students in primary schools and its educational results according to the practical education in the Dongchangdian Primary School in Anshan, Liaoning province;In Chapter 2 I discuss the intelligent development value of reading Chinese classics from both enriching knowledge and forming reasonable knowledge structure and intelligent training;In the third chapter I discuss the moral development value of reading the Chinese classics. From knowing , feeling, idea and going I analyze the educational value of reading the Chinese classics in primary school stage .In Chapter 4 from enhancing national consciousness I elaborate that reading Chinese classics is good for establishing national consciousness, strengthening the national self-confidence, stiring up the national pride and bringing up the patriotic feeling.
