Al Spengler Town's Merchant Family

With the rapid development of socialist market economy after the policy of reform and opening implemented, a lot of new phenomenon have taken place in many places including the area of semi-agriculture & semi-farming in Inner Mongolia. The third industry and the families engaging in it which appeared in the basic communities of eastern towns in Inner Mongolia have attracted much attentions. I am very interested in row upon row of shops and businessman's families in those basic communities. Therefore, I selected an organizational systemtown------Arbenger as my research object and stayed there for over amonth to investigate. The thesis is based on my investigation. In the thesis, I will describe and analyse at length the structure, function, business, income and consumption of the businessman's families in Arbenger town. Then, I will summarize the features of those families and put forward my opinions about some problems in those families. Finally, I will discuss the prospects of the businessman's families in this town. The economic type of semi-agriculture & semi-farming is universal in eastern area in Inner Mongolia. To such a town which lies in the border and has many ethnic groups, economic development is quite important for the solidarity of ethnic groups and stabilization of frontier.
