Family education,as the most important part of children’s growth,is related to the development of children’s life.There are many forms of parents’ participation in children’s activities in family education.Because of the rich content of their activities,the direct interaction between parents and children,family parent-child activity has an irreplaceable position.Family parent-child activities are different from the parent-child activities organized by preschool education institutions such as kindergartens,early childhood education institutions and parent-child parks.They only refer to the parent-child interaction activities jointly participated by parents and children in family education.On the basis of combing the current situation of family parent-child activities,this study combines the description of children’s age development characteristics and growth needs in the Teaching Guideline for Preschool Education and the Learning and Development Guide for children aged 3-6.Based on the previous research and interviews,this study adapted the existing questionnaire from three dimensions: the basic situation of the respondents’ families,the basic situation of the family parent-child activities,and the difficulties and needs of the current family parent-child activities.At the same time,combined with the needs of children’s growth and development,this paper makes an investigation and statistics on the development of family parent-child activities from five aspects of language,science,art,society and health as well as house working,travelling etc.According to the survey data,objective analysis of the main problems in the current family parent-child activities are: at present,the education level of parents is generally improved,but the time of accompanying children is relatively insufficient;the problems of parents and children carrying out family parent-child activities are mainly shown in: the gap between cognition and action;the gap between the planning and implementation of family parent-child activities;the gap between the accompanying time of father and children’s expectation;the imbalance of family parent-child activities;and the interest classes,parent-child classes and electronic products with low parental participation occupy the majority of children’s time.After in-depth interviews on the problems reflected in the survey data,the researcher fully analyzes and studies the difficulties encountered by parents and children in family parent-child activities in contemporary family education,and the main reasons are: the lack of time and energy for parents and children to carry out family parent-child activities;lack of professional guidance on family parent-child activities;influenced by traditional education concepts The results show that the participation of father in family parent-child activities is low;the organization of family parent-child activities is affected by the pressure of children’s entering school;and outdoor activities are affected by the lack of supporting equipment.In view of these problems,the researcher carried out a more in-depth theoretical research,from the government,kindergartens,teachers and parents of children and other aspects of the possibility of improving the quality of family parent-child activities,as well as reasonable suggestions for preschool teachers and parents.At the government level,it mainly includes: providing policy guarantee;providing the kindergarten’s backbone role in family education guidance.Preschool teachers should perform the duties and obligations of family education guidance.Parents should also strive to improve their educational literacy and ability.
