For the reform of grade school curricula, one significant characteristic is a great change from subject-specific mode to subject integration. Curriculum, as a major behavior conducted by teachers and students, has completed its turning from subject-specific mode to subject integration, but it won't be naturally completed with the promulgation of curriculum standards, which represent the will of educational specialists and the administrative instructions. So in order to complete the task, we should give audience to a practical narration of curriculum reform on the basis of on-the-spot-education perspective.This dissertation makes a research on arts broad-fields curriculum implemented by Danyang Experimental Primary School by a variety of methods combined qualitative research and theoretical argumentation, such as depth inquiry method, on-the-spot observation method, production analysis method, and so on.As it has indicated, not only does the establishment of this kind of curriculum have a complicated pedagogical theory background, but it also relies on a suitable pedagogical practical situation; it is an individual creative curriculum activity, which combines visual field.Plus, the implement of this curriculum, in fact, is a curriculum conversion based on action research for teachers. What's more, it initiates a series of profound reforms including educational ideas, principle of running schools, the ways of learning, curriculum resources and educational evaluation.The curriculum, as the author puts it, is a preliminary form of broad-fields curriculum. It is an insurmountable developmental stage from subject-specific mode to subject integration.In all, for the arts broad-fields curriculum, there is a long way to its perfection. It needs a further individual introspection towards teachers' awareness of curriculum; it will also be guaranteed by a corresponding school course mechanism. And the curriculum can get help as well from the work by normal training institutions, such as relocation and reorientation of their work, multi-oriented measure improvement.
