| Since the end of 1970s, some educators have been studying the theory of situated cognition and paying more attention to its application in the education practice. On the basis of the analysis of web-based course, the author dissertates the development and application of situated cognition theory, and then presents the perspective of web-based course learning surroundings. Finally, the author expatiates a specific solution - to design the web-based course learning surroundings based on situated cognition theory.This study contains six parts: the first part mainly analyzes the problem of schooling and the condition of web-based course, in addition, explains the clue, purpose, significance of this study; the second part discusses the basic theory of web-based course learning surroundings - situated cognition theory; the third part elucidates the relationship between learning surroundings and learning, and introduces the standpoint of web-based course learning surroundings; the fourth part is the core of the study, it expatiates how to design WCLS in detail and its instruction mode, specific situations and so on; the fifth part is the finality of the study, it generalizes the evolution of situated cognition theory and summarizes the excellencies and imperfections of this study. The paper provides some references to the persons who want to engage in this kind of research. |
