Today, with the rapid development of the Internet, the rapid development of moderntechnology, wireless communication technology has been widely used, the informationpresented in the form of education has become increasingly rich, mobile learning emergedand gradually become a new way of learning. Mobile learning with the convenience oflearning, personalized teaching,interactive scenarios richness and interactivity features andadvantages, is becoming a hot spot of information technology education. With the deepeningof China’s reform of educational information, a growing number of mode, resources andapplications of mobile learning have been rise, and continue to improve. Some advancedmobile learning resources have been applied to the actual teaching. Currently, manycompanies are making in the design of educational software and educational platform, but thequality of the software varies greatly, levels vary considerably, the function is very simple,making it hard to make a choice.This study is based on literature research, case analysis, design and other researchmethods, mainly discusses the process of research of design mobile learning resources inprimary English based on Situated Cognition. This study introduces the definitioncharacteristics, advantages and disadvantages, collate and summarize the research status athome and abroad about mobile learning, analyse the current research situation at home andabroad, make a solid foundation in order to design mobile learning resources accord tostudents to use. In the design phase, analyse the characteristics of subjects in English; analysethe learning characteristics of students; analyse the characteristics of mobile learning ande-learning materials; understand of the development of teaching materials design; understandthe characteristics of the equipment that used which is easy to carry, personally to use, easy todeployment and management; analyse Situated Cognition; summarize the various parts of theneeds and functions can be achieved, and developing the system. During the testing phase,the students try to make the electronic textbook content and functionality has beencontinuously improved, more in line with the student ’s habits and providing good conditionsfor student learning. The research of design mobile learning resources of electronic textbooks in primaryEnglish based on Situated Cognition provides good resources for primary school students ofclassroom learning on English language, reducing the workload of teachers, stimulatingstudents’ interest in learning, improving students’ learning, effectively solution the problemfor students poor concentration in learning and do not understand in the class result in cannotkeeping up with the teacher. The settings of interactive practice, students can learn to practicethe knowledge and consolidation in time.After part of the student’s initial trial,the study can basically meet their actual needs, butalso need to carry out several tests and improvements in the future, I believe that mobilelearning resource can make a contribution for the information technology-based education.
