Affective education in history teaching is an ideal and model of teaching, which encourage to dig out affective various in teaching history, and through changing affective and ideal between teacher and student in order to bring up students' ideological and moral qualities and citizens' in basic quality. Affective education in history teaching, based on cognitive pattern, act cognitive reciprocally. To consider from the nature of history subject, affective education play an important role in history education, and it is also a method to achieve social function of historiography; To explain in psychological terms, it is an reflection of strucking students a chord with the teachers by many affective various.This paper has a discussion first on the value of affective in history teaching, regarding it has many—sided value, especially in several aspects as follows: cultivate students' sound character ,promote thinking ability and stimulate deep patriotism. To achieve that, teachers should transit their teaching ideals, build harmonious and pleasant relations between the teachers and students, improve teaching procedure and widen the scope of extracurricular activities. However, in the educational process, we have to take great care in the principles of systematization, optimum, appropriateness and deepening.
