This paper presents many new thoughts and approaches about associations'building of the college students by studying on the basic concept, theory and thought of students'associations.The first, it will analyze the connotation and concept of students'associations, and expatiate particularly on its characteristics, types and functions. By studying on the thoughts and experiences of excellent student association home and abroad, it will summarize the thoughts, managements and styles of students'associations that are worth learning and using for reference. And these will offer us a lot of directions in the building of student associations. After collecting the researched literature and datum about the actuality of student associations, it analyzed problems existed in student association at present, so that we could find efficient countermeasures and new approaches. This paper emphasizes starting at a whole angle to build student association, brought forward the idea for building associations entirely, and keeps them developing in harmonization and continuance.At the end of this paper, it considers that we need to definitude a right goal, hold principles, and grasp a right direction to build efficient student association. Setting about building the crew systems, spirits and cultures, matters and basic establishments of associations, it enhances the theory's research and communion of experiences and promotes ideological and political work in associations. This paper wants to make a fine campus culture atmosphere, inaugurate a new channel for the ideological and political education in the college via the building of the college student associations and turn the associations into the base for building the excellent successors of our social democracy.
