Adult Education Equal Opportunities Study

Although we had gotten many achievements on the field of adult education, some problems still exist, one of which is equal opportunity of adult education. While the fact is that the research in equal opportunity of adult education be relatively weak. Owing to it, the writer chose this research direction, expounded the theory in the more overall view following the basic way of thinking which is finding problem, analyzing problem, solving problem. By it, the writer hopes to contribute towards the research in this field. This paper has five parts:The first part is related to the definition of the related concepts. This part analyses the education opportunity, the equal education opportunity and other concepts, which results to the definition of equal opportunity of adult education. For this point, the paper elaborates in detail from three level, that's departure-point, process and result.The second part focuses on the multivalent analysis of realization of equal adult education opportunity. It analyses the huge economic value, the rich population value and attractive social security value which are resulted from the realization of equal adult education opportunity. And then the paper shows that it is unretrveable to realize the equal adult education opportunity.The third part refers to the problem of unequal opportunity in our adult education from four aspects which are the imbalance between region difference and adult education opportunity, the gap between stratum difference and adult education opportunity, the slant on the sex difference and adult education opportunity, the disjointness between race difference and adult education opportunity.The forth part explains the inequality of adult education opportunity described in part three deeply on the level of matter, culture, vocation, politics, inner elements of adult education and other factors.In the fifth part, on the basis of the research results the writer puts forward the countermeasures against the realization of our equal adult education opportunity in macro view and micro view. In the macro view: perfecting the equal education policy could establish the good legal system for the balance development of adult education; establishing the lifelong education system been in the background of learning society could improve the situation of equal adult education opportunity; enlarging the education investment could guarantee the balanced installation of adult education resources; setting up the slant policies could promote the adult education development for the vulnerable groups; practicing the preferential policies could strongly develop the female education; thoroughly grow the minority education. In the micro view: reforming and perfecting the selection mechanism of adult examination; designing the reasonable curriculum of adult education; improving the teaching method of adult education; completing the evaluation system of adult education; raising the teacher's vocational morals of adult education.
