In the report《Education -Wealth Contains》, the four mainstays view was clearly proposed by the International 21st century education committee. That is Four learning to: Learning to know, Learning to do, Learning to live together and Learning to be .The most important of them is how to cultivate students 'learning to know and master the ability to learn on.《The Elementary education Curriculum Reforms (Implementation) (Trial)》issued by Ministry of Education also demand students to change their study way, from "learning something" to "being able to learn". Nowadays we are strengthening "learning to study", "Life-long study" and "continous development". If we want to turn these into reality, we must pay more attention to cultivating students' reflection capability. Research study is an effective means to achieve this.This problem combines well with research study. With the theories of "constructivism", "Meta-cognition" and "reflective teaching", we can research and practise how to cultivate students' reflective capability (esp. reflective skills).We are trying to improve students reflective consciousness by means of senior research study, and to make them learn to reflect and practise reflection aiming at learning to study and life-long study.The strategies of cultivating students' reflection during the senior research study are concluded in the problem: 1. by self-questioning list 2.by self-summarizing 3.by self-evaluating mainly students self-evaluating and group-evaluating, portfolio assessment evaluating.4.by dialogues between group members. Students' reflective consciousness and reflective skills in analyzing question can be improved when we intensify students' reflection using the strategies mentioned above in the course of research study. Meanwhile it can help to heighten students' initiative and activeness in participating research study thus raises the efficiency of research study.
