We investigate the condition of internet behavior and internet addiction(IAD) among junior middle school students. We discussed the factors which influence whether IAD or not. According to the factors, we have given some suggestions to prevent IAD. The investigation invited 750 junior middle school students random from 18 classes of 18 junior middle schools. We worked out the investigation questionnaire of the internet behavior in junior middle school students in the base of the previous research and lots of interviews and prophase investigations. We are known from the investigation that few students never online, most of them have ever surfing net, but Internet addiction is few, too. Most students come into internet at home, at school or at net bar. There are lots of activities on the net. Most popular activities are chatting to make friends, moving or music downloading and games play. The ratio of internet addiction is little and the addiction degree is not very serious. Addiction students have fewer satisfactory than normal students. The investigation discussed the external and internal factors which influence whether IAD or not separately. External factors are interpersonal factors, lesson factors and family factors. Internal factors are reactive methods about personality. According to the factors, we have given some suggestions to prevent IAD: 1.All the people in social do themselves job to give the junior middle school students"green"net circumstance and internet.2.The parents should apply themselves to reate tuneful family environment, draw up surfing net rules of family.3.School should think much of preventing internet addiction:⑴Deepen the educational reform to do the education for all-round development, score is no longer the only standard, find ways to make the students to be interesting in study;⑵Help students to make good interpersonal relationship;⑶TO beginning with the cognition, we should lead the students knowing the net correctly and use the net reasonable;⑷To training students and let them get positive psychological quality.
