Countermeasures For Dealing With Internet Addiction Of Urban High-school Students

Internet,as the platform of information society,provides the urban high-school students with brand new methods and channels of their study,life and entertainment. However,unreasonable and unscientific use of internet may leads to internet addiction which poses severe threat and harm to their mind and body. Internet addiction is always defined in terms of medical science and psychology at home and aborad. Most subjects investigated are adults and teenagers. Psychotherapy and medication are the main cures for Internet addiction disorder. Internet addiction,from the angle of educational management,is a phenomenon that overusing internet results in dependence on internet and then makes the addicts lose control of themselves and ignore work , studis , families and social communication. What is worse,the addicts blink at the harm to mind and body and the welfare of society. Subject investigated of this paper is urban high-students who are addicted to internet. After investigation and analysis of master data,preventive measures are put forward from the angle of education management,which is the unique perspective of this thesis.The reasons urban high students are addicted to internet are complex and many. Family is the main cause of this phenomenon. Countermeasures for dealing with such situation should be explored from urban families. In addition,this paper disscusses how to set up a"three-in-one"precautionary system that links school,society and family. This kind of mode has three types:school-oriented,society-oriented and family-oriented. School-oriented mode gives prominence to the function of schooling. Society-oriented mode attaches importance to the influence of environment. Family-oriented mode thinks much of parents' responsibilities. Each has his strong point.The main causes for internet addiction are home education and runaway management. Parents' precaution plays key role. A precautionary system with family as the mainstay, and school and society as the support should be established. Such kind of precautionary system can ensure the healthy use of internet and stop urban high-student from internet addiction to a great extent.
