Nowadays, although Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) is introduced into the classroom, the knowledge is still mainly imparted by teachers, despite the conversion from human-indoctrination to machine -indoctrination, while the students as cognitive principals are still passive and can not actively participate in the process of the teaching. Therefore, this pattern of teaching has nothing to contribute to the cultivation of talents and the students'ability. In order to better create favorable learning atmosphere and chance which are available for the students to actively probe into problems, to dig out problems and figure out problems, the author intends to seek after more scientific teaching principles, strategies and patterns of math CAI, which are drawn from math teaching experiments that are performed in teaching senior high students solid geometry. The author makes the research by mainly adopting the method of literature, method of experiment and method of observation and so on. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:The thesis firstly illustrates the reasons, the necessity and significance of this study. The reason is that people are not satisfactory with the effectiveness of solid geometry CAI in current junior high school practice. In allusion to the status quo of the research on solid geometry CAI, theories like behaviorism learning theory, cognitive learning theory, constructivist learning theory are discovered, and the author points out the practical value of CAI of solid geometry. In this part, the author then analyses the CAI of solid geometry as follows: setting forth the request of new curriculum criterion and teaching program for solid geometry, analysing in detail the teaching emphases, difficulties and speciality of solid geometry and further providing solutions. Moreover, the author also points out that the principles of CAI of solid geometry: predominant role of students, mutuality, practical effectiveness, scientificity, openness, adaptability. In this chapter, the author discusses the teaching strategies, patterns and schemes to reform current CAI of solid geometry. Firstly, the author puts forward five teaching strategies to reform the CAI of solid geometry. Secondly, she lays out the teaching pattern as follows: demonstration by the teacher, mutual learning, network teaching, individual teaching, module and multi-dimension teaching. Thirdly, she demonstrates in theory the influence which CAI imposes on the teaching patterns above. Finally, she provides the teaching schemes about CAI of solid geometry in the following aspects: teaching object, teaching content, the sequence of the teaching activities, teaching means and teaching organizations, teaching medium and their application. And she further demonstrates the feasibility of the scheme mentioned above. And the author validates the teaching strategies, patterns and schemes mentioned above by making the experiments above. Finally, According to the problems arising in the practical experiment, the author points out that we should pay more attention to the cultivation of students'ability to get information in the information age, enhance the math teachers'ability and further strengthens the development of the implemental software. The innovation of the thesis is that the author makes a research about CAI of solid geometry pertinently, roundly and homely. Another innovation is that the author devises the module teaching pattern in the practical teaching and further certifies its effectiveness by means of experiments. The author also makes a generalization about the results of experiments in both theory and practice. The results acquired from the CAI of solid geometry are helpful not only for math teaching but also for the teaching of other subjects.
