Investigation And Development Strategies In Shandong Province Of Higher Level Women's Basketball Team

In 1986 the high-level sports team was set up in the university in our country. Along with the development of the society, the athletic sports in the university have played a more important part in the development of the physical education. Thus the university cultivating high-level athletes will have an important effect on the development of the physical education. Making the research on the present condition of the university and providing the countermeasures to the university will have a significant meaning to the development of the high-level basketball team.As a province rich in economic and sport, there are many universities such as Shandong University, Ocean University of China, China university of Petroleum and other 52 universities in this province, whose scale and quantity are at the top of our country. There are a large number of gymnasiums and lots of basketball players of higher quality. However, the achievement of women's basketball in the University of Shandong province was not good. By investigating the present condition of the high-level women's basketball team, the author has got some data and materials which will provide the theory basis to the development of the basketball in our province.The research objects are 104 players who attended 12th national university basketball match and 8 coaches. By using the questionnaire , the specialist interviewing, comparative analysis and statistic methods, the author has got the results which are as follows:1.The high-level women basketball players in Shandong universities mostly come from the high school, and the sports level is not high. Another result is that only one in 8 universities has player coming from other province.2.The match between universities is few in Shandong Province and there are few opportunities for players to take part in the match. Thus it hindered the enhancement of women basketball team overall level.3.After entering into the university ,women players are influenced by the social factor and individual factor, so their training manners have been changed. Lacking of competition opportunities and training time have a bad effect on the athletes' result. 4.Management system in the university is not strict, which affected the study of the player. And there is still a question between the study and the training.5.Though the leaders in the universities have paid more attention to the high-level basketball team, one question to be solved is lack of economical investment and support. What's more, the team model of the sport team in our province is not perfect, so it is lack of sociality and attraction.6.Most of the coaches graduating from the physical education major ,and lack of few chances of training.Their knowledge is far behind of the society development. It is generally accepted that scientific research is as important as multi-disciplinary scientific research. But for lacking of the effective encouraging mechanism and the funds restriction, the coaches carrying on the scientific research to team's development is insufficient. Another question is that coaches'specialty proportion is low.7.As a result of the limited funds in the basketball movement, it is impossible for the university to guarantee the normal training and the competition needs. Moreover, the field facility are not advanced and this only can guarantee the daily training.According to the findings, countermeasures are as follows:1.Protract the corresponding recruitment policy and expand the dimensions of the students according to different characteristic of the sports.2.Improve the competition system of the basketball sports and increase the match opportunity between the universities.3.Consummate the relationship between sports and higher education and try to manifest humanist idea.4.Innovate the management model of the players in the university. Make use of credit system reform to solve the contradiction and try to construct a set of perfect management system.5.According the women player of physiological characteristic, the formulation science training , enhances their achievement.6.Constitute the hiring system to the coaches in the universities and cultivate their ability. Only in this way can they improve the training and the technical innovation level.7.Excavate the market of the sports by using of the socialization and occupation in sports and form the multi-channel funds collection system.
