Sports dance as a new invention which is put in the condition of sport class in universities, the theoretical study and practical lessons are weak, and many sports dance training situation is worrying, not only hinder our Sports dance the level of important factors, but also in our universal sports dance greatly affected and constrained. This thesis used law, interviews law, comparative law, a few statistics for law, law research literature on 28 universities, sports dance organizations, teachers' and students' groups in Nanjing city and the status of the problems investigated and analysis, The results showed:1. Nanjing was organized Sports dance Association of university, Nanjing sports dance organizations has formed a certain management model. Nanjing University Sports dance club and leagues have had its initial scale. However, for it's not long since its establishment, the organizations, and management concerned is not well enough as we hope and it's hard to organize activities closely, meanwhile, the cooperation is needed, especially with the professional Associations. So it need to learn from those official organizations of government which has established for a long time and has some experience, strengthening the contact in order to make big progress.2. Sports dance development in universities is unbalanced, in which none exists in colleges and military schools while the situation is pretty good in big universities, which have the tendency to extend. The research shows that the sports dance class is fit for the university that we should enhance the extent and depth of its promotion.3. The organization and expansion of university sports dance club is still in its initial stage, so the communication is small, the development of inner university activities lacking of organizing, system and consistency, which result as a flash in the pan. We should use the good platform of university sports dance teacher's association, to enhance the contact between schools and the contact to the governmental associations or organizations. We can take the advantage of the field on campus, to assist the open of competition, at the same time change the concept of leaders in managing department of sports education in all the universities, persuading them to increase the support of sports dance, extend the promotion, aggrandize the devotion, and improve the teaching establishment, so that we can meet the students' need and desire of learning to dance, can advance the club and open the inner school contest.4. Nanjing university sports dance classes have no the uniform normative teaching and training outline. Their teaching method is simple, teaching content unbending, and there is a big gap between the figure of the male and female who choose the class. To deal with it, we first need to refer to the standard teaching material of sports dance, based on the practical level of undergraduates, on their psychological peculiarity, frame the university sports dance teacher's material scientifically, meanwhile stress the systematical feature of it, and deepen it gradually to make it more consummate. Secondly, we need to reinforce the application of modernize teaching method, like media demonstration, and basic theoretical lessons, and different way to teach to solve the problem of gender, and according to which shall we make the reasonable standard of exam.5. The age of teachers in university is from 25 to 35, which shows great room to develop, but the profession teachers is in short, so the knowledge for teachers is from short-time training and self-learning, which lack the right, sustaining learning and developing platform. That leads to the imperfection of knowledge structure and aging of it, so we need to quicken the training of teachers and coaches, to elevate the professional knowledge and performance. We should establish a long-term teachers' training system, encouraging teachers to participate the competitions to gain the experience and skill is quite important. At one time, we should introduce into professional people, exploding the prejudice, to select talent people from some art academies.6. Now the students of sports dance in Nanjing university in not very large, and it comes out as "small in two ends while big in middle", that is, small in college and graduate students, large in undergraduates, and small in freshmen and senior while large in sophomore and junior. We can see that the students have not realized the value of spots dance in art and in exercise, but they enjoy it and demand it.The participant of sports dance is blank while its content is rich, so there is short of high level training and instruction. The consumption is relatively higher than other games, which in a certain degree limit the development of sports dance.
