| The new round of basic education reform in China stresses the importance of research-oriented study to satisfy the demands on talent of a quickly developing society.During the course of this reform ,classroom teaching serves as the main channel of talent training. Being an important component of science education,high school chemistry course plays an irreplaceable role in improving students'scientific knowledge and promoting their overall development. Chemistry teachers including the author of their thesis ,have been focusing on how to apply the research -oriented teaching to their classes.Basing on a collection of scientisfic documents and using the constructivist theory , the author describes the basic features of research-oriented teaching . The thesis explain the principles of research-oriented teaching and also explainthe conditions under which research-oriented teaching can be carried out and suggests some strategies .Also containd in this thesis are some early stage conclusions by the author out of one-year teaching practice: (1)research-oriented teaching raise students'interest in chemistry .(2)with this method , students may master not only knowledge but also the scientific ways to get the knowledge. (3) it improves students'cooperative and communicative abilities (4)it is a good way of character training and it helps them face difficulties with great courage.In all, research-oriented teaching makes a platform for teacher -student and student- student interactions, promotes both teaching and learning ,booms students'creative spirits,improves their practical abilities scientific qualities. Research-oriented teaching has proved to be effective in students'overall quality education. |
