Mathematics understanding is the unity of the process, the method and the purposeof mathematics learning. That learning without thinking leads to confusion; thinkingwithout learning ends in danger shows the dialectical relation between learning andthinking, and that thinking without understanding is vain points the logical relation ofthinking and understanding. The research about mathematics understanding beforecentralized on the concept, the function, the model and levels, the evaluation, thetactics to raise the students' mathematics understanding ability, and so on. Mathematicsunderstanding can increase the students' memory efficiency, reinforce their studyconfidence, lesson their study burden, and help them to undertake mathematicscreation. Mathematics understanding ability is reflected in mathematics memory ability,words and sentence expression ability, semantic analysis ability, logic inference abilityand disperses thinking ability.Understanding mathematics learning is a mathematics study system based on thestudents' understanding level. It isn't a specific learn method, while a goal oriented.Understanding mathematics learning has two arrangements: first, understanding themathematical knowledge and their apply scope and condition; second, setting up goodmathematical view and using mathematical knowledge to analyze and solve practicalproblems, optimizing mathematics quality. The process of understanding mathematicslearning is also the course to consummate the students' CPFS structure. Active migrateis the central standard to assess understanding mathematics learning. Understandingmathematics learning bases on cognitive psychology and mathematics understandinglevel theory. Understanding mathematics learning has two characters: it is a thinkingprocess, and is has tacitness.The paper got three conclusions in follow:(1) If the mathematics test questions can examine the students' mathematicsunderstanding ability, mathematics understanding level and mathematics cognitivescore have high associativity.(2) Mathematics reflective study and explaining mathematics contents each othercan increase the students' mathematics understanding ability. They do good to thestudents for their understanding mathematical learning.(3) Mathematics reflective study can increase the students' relation understandingand migratory understanding significantly, while explaining mathematics contents eachother can advance the students' operational understanding evidently.
