As a new management concept, organizational learning has become one of the hotspots of modern management research. At present, the theory research and practice of organizational learning has developed from enterprises'to other social organizations, including schools, hospitals and government organizations so on.Under the rapid change of environment, improving the organizational learning capacity of universities is the basic way to develop continuously, when they are faced with a lot of new opportunities and challenges. Organizational learning for universities is one of new management concepts and the basic patterns to outstanding success continuously. The paper expounds the concept of organizational learning capacity of universities, and the importance of organizational learning capacity of universities to keep lasting development. It analyses profoundly several obstacles in organizational learning for universities presently. The author brings up originally the sharing model, process and method of organizational learning for universities in accordance with the theory of single loop learning, double loop learning and triple loop learning. It tries to find out the effective way to overcome the obstacles and improve the organizational learning capacity of universities initiatively.The paper emphasizes the theory of organizational learning combining with the practice of universities, giving the basic framework and way to improve the organizational learning capacity of universities. The text comprises 4 parts:Chapter 1 is an introduction. It comes straight to the point about the definition, background and significant of the organizational learning capacity of universities. It sets forth concisely about the level of organizational learning research at home and abroad, as well as the content, purpose and methods of the paper.Chapter 2 is some factors to influence the organizational learning capacity of universities. It analyses and expounds the learning obstacles in universities from the field such as the authority center of policy-making, organization structure,administrative management contingent, methods of thinking in management and the organization culture combining with the practice of universities.Chapter 3 is some ways to improve the organizational learning capacity of universities. It brings up originally the tentative idea and tactics to found the sharing model of organizational learning in universities according to the theory of single loop learning, double loop learning and triple loop learning. It combines with the practice of universities to discuss how to enhance the organizational learning capacity of universities through improving the ability of leaders, the common aspiration of universities, the methods of thinking in management, the organization structure and sharing organizational knowledge in order to improve the whole management level of universities obviously.Chapter 4 is conclusion and introspection. It expounds concisely the research findings as well as the defects of the paper.There are some innovative points: researching into organizational learning of universities using the experience of general theory of organizational learning; giving a definition to organizational learning of universities and the organizational learning capacity of universities; bringing up originally the sharing model of organizational learning in universities; providing universities the basic theory and methods to develop organizational learning; giving a new viewpoint of thinking and explaining the reforms and development of universities.
