How time flies! 21th century is the new century, featured with the creation and application of knowledge. The formation of people's modern science aptitudes and the cultivation of elites endowed with creation play an essential role in determining a country's comprehensive influences towards the world. It will become a trend to strength a country's covert power.Elementary education is a "tomorrow" project. Successful science enlightment education can lay a basis for public science aptitude. Nowadays, the quality of elementary science education will determine the whole citizens' aptitudes in the future. Therefore, it is very necessary to improve aptitudes and levels of the science teachers in elementary schools.According to the research results and predications up to now, the crucial period of teachers' professional improvements is the first several years after they graduate and start to teach students. The qualities of teachers' improvements in this period will produce great influences on teachers' professional growth. In the early stage, if one adopts valid professional improvement approaches, they will take on a new and quick increase. The theoretical research that pays more attention to professional improvements of science teachers in elementary schools will provide theoretical support for forming eligible science teachers in elementary schools.The whole paper is divided into three parts. The first chapter introduces the reason why the author chooses this topic and summarizes the research results of new teachers' professional improvements in and out of China, and states the significance, and addresses the main research methods and defines the core related concepts. The second part describes the real conditions of the new science teachers' professional improvements in elementary schools from the situation of elementary science education, the elementary science teachers' professional improvements, the elementary science teachers' recognition towards themselves, the problems they face nowadays, the measurements the school administrative departments carry out respectively. In the meanwhile, in order to know the situation of professional improvements of elementary science teachers better, we carry a convey towards the new teachers' career specification and their imaginations towards the professional improvements. On the basis of the above descriptions, we will ponder over the recent situation, and find out the real problem. The third part tries to construe the elementary science teachers' professional improvement environment and illustrate the improvement maps from teachers' professional improvements, psychology, teachers' professions, new courses, elementary science teachers and so on. Accordingly, from the perspective of full-time and part-time education, we propose seven measures to promote the elementary science teachers' professional improvements.
