Institutionalized children's social education had always dissociated itself from kindergarten; it was not until the 1990s that children's social education drew people's attention."Outline of kindergarten education and guidance (Trial)", which our country promulgated in 2001, has ascertained its independent position in early childhood education courses, and has given it systematic support and guide from macroscopic view on policy. In recent years, the development and construction of social curriculum is gradually on the rise, but it is still very weak compared with other areas of research. It lacks systematic study. So, strengthening the research of children's social education is the requirements of both theory building and educating practice.Owing to this current situation, this thesis will further strengthen and improve the theoretical research community of children's social education, then, using this theory to guide practice, and propose the basic principles, approaches and means specifically for the social education. This thesis consists of three sections:Section One The concept and significance of children's social educationUnderstanding and defining the concept of children's social education is the logic premise of social research. Through inspecting the evolution of the children's social education in its 100-year history, demonstrate the concept of multidimensional perspective and analyze the related concepts, this section clarify the content of children's social education. Then, demonstrate the significance of children's social education from the following two aspects; one is to promote the comprehensive development of children in the horizontal performance, and the other is to promote the sustainable development of children from the vertical aspect.Section Two Basic tenets of children's social educationFirst, expound the theoretical foundation of children's social education, seek the theoretical basis of children's social education in the developmental psychology, perspective of cultural anthropology and social ecology. From this, try to expounding the basic principles of social learning: observational learning, action learning, learning experience and context learning. The basic principles of social learning are a reflection of the basic laws, and embody the principle requirements of children's social education practice.Section Three Basic principles, approaches and means of children's social educationThe basic purpose of this study is to exert the guidance of theory research in the practice of children's education. Based on the basic tenets of children's social education, this part is to further exposition the basic principles, ways and means of children's social education on the practical level. The basic principles of children's social education are ecological principles, permeability principles, influencial principles, life-orientation principles, nationality principles and emotional principles. The basic approaches are activities in kindergarten-educational activities, kindergarten culture-environmental mold and children's self experience–self education. The basic means are environmental mold, role-play, empathy training, conduct exercises, actively strengthen and value clarification.
