Attaching great importance to ideological and political education, playing its important role in the revolution, construction and reformation cause is our party's fine tradition and political advantage. And our party has achieved fruitful results both in the theory and practice of ideological and political education. However, as the developing of the reform and opening up and the socialist market economy, people's thinking, values and ethics have undergone tremendous changes. In such circumstances, the direct and explicit traditional ideological and political education can not fully meet these changes. So we should take the ideological and political education through permeability at the same time.This paper plans to make a primary discussion on the ideological and political education through permeability. The paper elaborates the problem from three parts. At first, the connotation and the necessity of the ideological and political education through permeability are analyzed. The paper introduces the meaning of the ideological and political education, "infiltration", "thorough" and "infiltration" firstly, and means to obtain the connotation of the ideological and political education through permeability. Then deepen the understanding of the ideological and political education through permeability from five aspects namely a kind of subtle education, democratic and equal education, progressive education, indirect and various education, complete and abiding education. On the basis of the discussion of the connotation of the ideological and political education through permeability, the paper analyzes its necessity from three aspects namely the changes in the environment of the ideological and political education, the present ideological and moral condition of the education object and the construction of socialism harmonious culture.Secondly, the paper digs the thoughts origin of the ideological and political education through permeability. The ideological and political education through permeability is feasible and effective, the reason of which is that it has deep, broad thoughts origin. The traditional Chinese thinking on education, foreign educational theory and the Marxist theory all provide an important basis for the ideological and political education through permeability, such as: the traditional Chinese thinking on education such as inspire the leading, teaching according to students aptitude, setting a good example, the combination of knowing and doing, step by step and the influence of the environment; foreign educational theory including Dewey's school moral education "three-in-one" theory, moral cognitive development theory represented by Kohlberg, social learning theory represented by Bandura as well as Suhuomulinshiji's ideas of moral education; many viewpoints and theories of Marxist classical writers, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao.Finally, the paper discusses the realization of the ideological and political education through permeability. On the basis of the process of the ideological and political education, the paper discusses the realization of the ideological and political education through permeability from educator, receptor, mediator, vector and environment. First, strengthen the thinking of permeability: renewing educational concept, people-oriented, full education; shaping perfect personality to play role models; respect for education targets, establish a harmonious relationship between teachers and students. Second, encourage the receptor's self-infiltration. The receptor should recognize their status as the master, learn actively and bring the initiative into play, conduct self-education. Third, highlight the permeability of the goals and contents of education. Educational goals should strive for actualization and hierarchy. Educational contents should outburst life feature and embodiment. Fourth, increase the penetration of education vector including activities, the media, management and emotion. Fifth, play the role of educational environment, beautify the physical environment and purify the spiritual environment.
