The years from1928 to1937 was a very important period for the development of Shan Dong's education, during which the secondary education obtained prominent achievements. As the secondary education has broad sense and narrow sense, my thesis explained the scope of my discussed question, So in my thesis the secondary education includes general high school education, normal school education, vocational education and ecclesiastic education. They all made a great contribution to the development of Shan Dong's secondary education in this period.After the civil government set up in the whole nation, Shan Dong government began to pay attention to education and took a lot of measures and acquired some effect. It made Shan Dong to be a modal in the whole nation in the modern secondary education.This thesis mainly discussed the general situation of Shan Dong's secondary education in this period. The whole study consists of the following parts:Chapter One mainly investigated the annals and the general situation of the Shan Dong's secondary education. It focused of the policy and measures in this period,owing to which Shan Dong's secondary education in this period achieved a lot. The size, number and quality of the secondary education all obtained prominent enhance.Chapter Two discussed the framework and distribution of Shan Dong's secondary education from 1928 to 1937. The reasonable framework and distribution provided guarantee for the development of the Shan Dong's secondary education.Chapter Three mainly analyzed landscape orientation in Shan Dong's secondary education in this period. It mainly narrated the source and the use of the outlay. It is the economy supporter of the development of the Shan Dong's secondary education.Chapter Four mainly analyzed the general situation of the courses setup and the teachers, from which we knew that the improvement of the teachers'payment is one of the reasons for the development of Shan Dong's secondary education. At last, I think over the Shan Dong's secondary education and try to sum up the characteristics, achievements, the problems and the reasons why it succeeded. I want to find out the inner impetus and orderliness in Shan Dong's secondary education to provide some useful experience for our today's secondary education.
