Teachers are "the foundation of education,the source of education",shouldering for the country to train qualified socialist builders and reliable successors of the important mission.Physical Education Teachers,as professionals engaged in physical education activities,in 2008,the "guiding outline of Health Education in primary and middle schools" made the decision that "health education in schools mainly takes physical education and health subjects as the important carrier",pointing out that physical education teachers shoulder the important mission of "health education",it is a new directive to promote the professionalization of physical education teachers.Combining the current situation of the research on the health education ability of physical education teachers and the current situation of the health education ability of physical education teachers in China,the theoretical and empirical research on Physical Education Teachers'health education ability is to meet the needs of national policy and the demands of the times,which has rich theoretical value and practical significance.Under the background of "healthy China" strategy,based on the theory of Health Education,this research takes the Physical Education Teachers' health education ability as the research object,by using the methods of Literature Review,questionnaire survey,interview,Mathematical Statistics and logical analysis,the present situation of physical education teachers health education ability in Wuhan Middle Schools of Hubei Province was investigated from the aspects of health education knowledge,health education attitude and health education skill,in order to improve the ability of physical education teachers to actively contribute to health education.The conclusion of this study is as follows:1.The General Middle School Physical Education Teachers' health education ability is in the middle and upper level,but each dimension is "unbalanced",in which the health education attitude is better than the health education skill and the health education knowledge.2.The physical education teachers' health education ability of middle school is embodied in the following aspects:The knowledge of Health Education is not comprehensive,the practical knowledge of health education is seriously deficient,and the attitude of health education is good,however,the professional identity of health education needs to be strengthened,and the skills of health education are not outstanding,the main manifestations are as follows:the tendency of subjective judgment of experiential type in assessing students' needs for health education,the individualization and differentiation of level in health education content planning,the lack of implementing skills of health education and the neglect of students' emotional experience of health education in health education evaluation.3.The physical education teachers' health education ability in middle school has certain difference in school type,but there is no difference in sex,body mass index,age,teaching age,professional title,Graduate School,Educational Background and teaching period.In the sub-dimension,there are some differences in the attitude of health education on educational background,the attitude of health education is better with the improvement of educational background,and there are some differences in the skills of health education on school types,among them,the Public School is better than the private school physical education teachers.4.The reasons that restrict the ability of physical education teachers in health education are related to the lack of role consciousness of health education,the lack of teaching experience of health education,the lack of professional accomplishment of health education,the lack of systematic training of health education,the lack of institutional environment to support Physical Education and health education,and the lack of social support.Therefore,according to the research results,this paper puts forward the following six suggestions:Physical Education Teachers Renew the educational concept,establish the role consciousness of health education;Physical Education Teachers are expected to enhance their professional quality of health education,improve their training quality,improve their ability structure of health education,strengthen top-level design and optimize the environment of physical education and health education system Create the environment of school health education and create the atmosphere of sports health education.
