Nowadays the professional development of teachers has become the main concern in education throughout the world. Meanwhile, it's also the practical need of teachers' education and the development trend in future. Based on the breakthrough of the professional confidence of rural middle-school teachers, this essay concerns for the effective approach of the development of the teachers' professional improvement.First, through the research on the professional confidence and the process of teachers' professional development, career tiredness, and the self-efficiency and teaching achievement, the researcher acquires so many beneficial hints for laying stable foundation of the future study. Then,in the questionnaire after the heart-to-heart interview based on the questionnaires, the researcher makes a survey on the sample in Sunzhuang Middle School in Hai'an county in Jiangsu. The research showcases there is a close relationship between the formation of the professional confidence of teachers and teaching time and teachers' age or the process of teachers' professional development.The procedures of the process of teachers' professional development, career tiredness and self-efficiency and the teaching achievement play an impact on the professional confidence, which is synthetic and mutual. At last, the researcher not only draws the relevant conclusion between the formation and development of the professional confidence but also puts forward the relevant suggestions about the elevating the professional confidence in middle-school teachers.The researcher holds the view as follows, first, to elevate teachers' professional confidence and promote their development, the first thing we do is to begin with the teachers' salary and welfare and promote the good social era where the whole society show respect to teachers and understand the significance to teaching career. Second, we must update the opinion of managing the school and strengthen the teacher-oriented belief. Third, improve the appraisal system of teachers with respect of proper expectation, active appraisal and focusing on appraisal and encouragement. Fourth, we must take into consideration the management in school as the education for teachers to realize the combination of school management and teachers' education. Last, we also should help teachers to build the professional spirit.
