Automatic Table Tennis Ball Machine Design And Control System

In order to enable the practicer to study the table tennis technology well and achieve the goal of building their body and exercise, considering the characteristics of the table tennis served, a new kind of table tennis serving machine was designed in this thesis. That is the self-control table tennis serving machine.In this thesis, the status quo of the table tennis serving machine was summarized at home and abroad. The mechanical structure of the existing serving machine was analyzed. According to the functions to be achieved, the design option of the existing serving machine was improved. Considering the serving device defects, the serving principle about the double wheels face to face circumrotating was proposed. The new serving machine can achieve rotating and non-rotating ball-launcher. The structure of the swing device was re-designed to facilitate the realization of automatic control, because of the complicated structure. The lifting motion was designed to improved its function. The mathematical model was established under the table tennis of mechanics analysis in flying. The process was emulated using MATLAB, and the reasonable spans of the parameters about controlling the falling ball points were confirmed. The design thought, principle, structural features and control system about the self-control table tennis serving machine were dissertated in this thesis. The control systems including the peripheral equipment, the motors, the PWM drive and so on were designed, and they are reliability. The principle about randomly serving the pingpang was discussed, and the program was designed.The improved design of the table tennis serving machine is a new-model, cost-effective self-control serve machine. It can serve all kinds of balls for the practitioners. It controls the speed, the angle and the rotation direction of the ball by using the computer. The random serving pattern was designed. The fall points of the table tennis become randomly, by the randomization of the serving speed, angle and height.
