Dormitory culture is an important component of campus culture. Its levels high or low directly related to the construction of the campus culture and level of development. In recent years, with the college expansion, as well as gradual advancement of rear service socialization, a series of theoretical and practical issues are appearing in dormitory management routine work .Dormitory culture building is one of the prominent issues.College dormitory culture takes the university students as a main body. It is the sum total of dormitory material culture, spiritual culture, the system culture and the behavior culture. It is a kind of community culture appearing from dormitory members who are living together .In May 2007 the author carried out a questionnaire survey in three universities in Jining area. On the basis of summing up, there are some problems in the leadership of schools, college dormitory management staff and students .Survey results show that the dormitory culture building concepts of school leaders are outmoded. Because of the impact of rear service socialization, many colleges and universities focus only on the hardware dormitory construction while ignoring the software construction. There is lack of long-term thinking about dormitory cultural construction .The quality of management staff is low. The management system is imperfect and there are loopholes in the management system. Student accommodation situation is also not optimistic. There are many negative cultural phenomenons in dormitories. But on the whole it is not very high.Strengthening dormitory cultural construction becomes an urgent problem. According to the principle of practicality, the people-centered principle, systematic principle, the principle of openness and the principle of combining service and management, the paper proposes some specific measures. Change concepts, strengthen leadership, and put dormitory cultural building into the school moral work. Build a high-quality management team, strengthen management, and promote the healthy development of dormitory cultural construction. Update management methods, improve the management structure and establish reasonable rules and regulations. Mobilize the students' creativity and initiative, and give more attention to their key role. Adhere to hard and soft construction to promote harmonious development of dormitory cultural construction.
