Contemporary College Students' Moral Values ​​education

Moral values, the most important constituent in a person's value system, refer to the intrinsic criteria that used to make judgments about various kinds of social phenomena according to their own morals needs. It is the moral criteria that people use to deal with benefit relations of the business concerning the society, the family, the occupation and it is a total of the moral ideas instructed by the certain moral principle. Currently, our country have initially established the socialist market economy system, and the economic system transformation will inevitably cause the changes of social morals relations, and affect choices of people's moral value, the judgment criteria and the moral value orientation. University student's moral value also exist some new tendencies and new questions along with fast social development.This paper first look over the current moral values of contemporary university students, and it discusses the necessity of the university students' moral value education from the aspect of moral standard and knowledge of moral values. Secondly, it interprets the scientific meaning and contents of the moral value education from the angle of philosophy. Thirdly, it analyses the main principles of moral value education which include principle of the relationship of theory to practice, principle of awareness-action consistency, principle of education and self-cultivation, principle of education and management combine together and principle of handing down and innovation. At last, based on the previous principles, it concludes the methods to carry out university students' moral value education, which are reformation of the Ideological and political education, launching of students' social practice, devotion to develop campus culture and taking possession of network moral positions. It is hoped that, with these helpful measures, it can improve to intensify the students' ideological and political quality and also to construct an implementation of high theoretical and practical value.
