China's Urban Early Childhood Family Education Study

Child sex education on the implementation is good for individual's mental health development. It not only helps to form the concept of gender and sexual role in the establishment, but also contribute to the elimination of anomalies in the process of development. At the same time, the family is an important place where the early children recognize the differences of gender at this stage. Most importantly, family is the important source of sex education for early children.This thesis has two values. First, it's on the theory. Through the study of sex education in family child care, it can help to enrich the development of early childhood education theory. Second, it's on the practice. The thesis discusses the methods of implementation of family sex education for early children and provide the guidance on sex education.First, this thesis introduces the cause of study's choice and the value. Then, related concepts are defined and study of our country and foreign countries about the sex education of children are summed. The paper point out that the study of theoretical basis—sex instinct and Sex Role of theory. It also introduce the research methods used. Chapter One of the study analyses the relevant data by the depth investigations and studies. Its analysis of the content covers a family of the child care knowledge and the concept of the status quo, the parents of the child's understanding of gender roles, parents of attitude and behavior of education.Chapter Two analyses the disadvantages in family sex education for early child care. Then, through three cases and the disadvantages, the thesis displays the causes of sex education for young children in the family.Chapter Three introduces the successful experience of young children's sex education in western countries, such as Switzerland, the United States, Japan and etc. These experiences can offer us lots of inspiration.The last chapter propose the principles and countermeasures of young children's family sex education.This thesis explains the importance of family sex education for early children. Therefore, it can afford us the significance of guidance for young children's family sex education.
