On The Cultivation Of High School Students Awareness Of The Law

In 1997, the strategy of running the country by law is to build up socialist legal system and administer the country by law, which is clearly put forward at Party's XV congress. In 1999, to build up socialist legal system and administer the country by law has been inscrolled to the Constitution at the 2nd meeting by the representatives of the 9th National Congress. The importance of citizens' legal awareness is more and more seriously taken by all circles.Since 1986, the Central Party Committee, National People Congress and the State Department have arranged five times successive five-year programs on education to popularize knowledge of laws. To improve the middle school students' legal awareness is the most important part of their education, which is significant for them to grow up healthy and develop further future.Middle school students, who like the rising early sun stand for the future of nation and the hope of nationality, are the successor of future socialism and the main force who can develop nation vigorously in 21st century. Therefore, It is the big problem whether middle school students who shoulder the historical task grow up healthily, which is related to the developing of nation and nationality and also relate to the successor of socialism founded by the older revolution generation. However, to our nation and world, the middle students' crime which has become a serious social problem has become more and more obvious, which has made all circles concerning and worrying. It is the hot topic perplexing every justice governments. Because the lack of law consciousness, some middle students break the law to affect their future and life, which make us worried and sad. To prevent and reduce middle students' crime, we should do the basic work—enhancing their law consciousness through strengthening the middles school students' law education, which can make them improve their law consciousness and law quality and grow up healthily. They will be modern socialism constructors and qualified citizens who get law consciousness and law belief. According to the goal, we should seriously discuss the problem on educating middle students' legal awareness.This thesis practically starts from educating the middle school students' legal awareness, which includes some methods, such as literature review, questionnaire investigation, observational method, comparison and so on. The problem related to educate middle school students' legal awareness is discussed and studied, which start from the analysis of the definition of consciousness and legal awareness. The thesis contains seven parts:First of all, it is introduction, which includes raising the question, research situation, research thoughts and research methods.Secondly, this thesis analyzes the content of consciousness and law consciousness. Consciousness is that man's brain react to positive material world and it is the sum total about every kind process of psychology, such as feeling, thought. Law consciousness which is a special form of social consciousness is the special part of law reality, which is the sum total on people's thought, view, knowledge and psychology reacting to current law phenomenon. This thesis describe middle students' legal awareness as: the way middle students react to law or phenomenon is psychology, knowledge, view and thought, which includes innerheart experience on feeling, cognition, assessment and faith of law.Thirdly, this thesis analyze the structure of legal awareness: 1. lateral structure of legal awareness: law knowledge, law ideal, law feeling, law will, law assessment and law belief; 2. vertical structure of legal awareness: law psychology, law view and the ideology of law.Fourthly, this thesis forms the report on middle students' law consciousness: their level of legal awareness is low; they realize the importance of law; they are deficient in the justice of judicature; the improvement of defending the rights; the ways of learning law are few.Fifthly, this thesis expound the objective necessary of strengthening middle school students' legal awareness: 1. the need for consummating the administrative regulations; 2. the need for enhancing middle students' consciousness and ability to defend their rights; 3. the need for achieving the goal of administering the nation by law and construct the socialist law nation; 4. the need for preventing an reducing the middle school students' crime.Sixthly, this thesis talks about the specific methods to foster middle school students' legal awareness: 1. consummate family education and optimize their family atmosphere; 2. insist on positive education and take school's main all-round effect; 3.strengthen the construction of socialist law and create disciplinal harmonious social environment; 4. build up the legal Internet which is based on school-centered with combining school, family and society; 5. middle students improve self-accomplishment and enhance the ability of self-control and distinguishing between right and wrong.Seventhly, this thesis gives some points about developing middle school students' legal awareness to think: 1. the increase of students' sense of right and the loss of sense of duty; 2. the improvement of middle school students' legal awareness can only be achieved in the background of strengthening all citizens' law consciousness; 3. the internalizing and externalizing of law consciousness among middle school students, the achievement of unity of knowing and doing; 4. to strengthen and consummate the measure of non-penalization punishment about middle school students' criminal.We fully realize how significant developing the middle school students' legal awareness is. We should take measures and use the power of school, family and all circles to foster their law consciousness and law quality and enhance law enforcement through strengthening the law education of middle school students. We should try our best to make middle school students become qualified, ideal, moral, educational and disciplinal personnel who can make contributions to construct the harmonious socialism society.
