On underground of social progress, the deepening reform of the medical system and thedeep change of medical services pattern, the relationship of doctor-patient becomesincreasingly tense or nervous, the conflicts of doctor-patient are growing, become a hot issueof medical and health work. The key to the success or failure of medical and healthundertakings depends on whether a medical ethics is good or bad. The medical colleges anduniversities, which are the cradles to raise medical workers, shoulder the important task toconvey high-level medical talents and improve the medical standards of the medical workers.The condition of the separation of ethical knowledge and moral action exists in the moral lifeof medical students, which seriously restrict the rise of the social moral quality overall leveland make moral education only stay in the moral cognitive level, seriously affects theeffectiveness of medical students’ moral education. The study analyzed the current situationand its causes of separation of ethical knowledge and moral action among medical students byquestionnaires and literature survey, and then attempted to construct the medical students’moral education model of the unity of knowing and doing based on its theory explored byhistoric methods.The paper includes five parts. The first part is that summarizes the background andmeaning of the research. And the second part is that the results of the investigation shows thatthere are different degrees of the unity of separation in eight aspects, analyze the currentsituation of students’ moral separation through the literature, analyze whether exists the unityof separation in the respect for others, classroom discipline, comply with the order, polite,honest and trustworthy, environmental protection, and internet civilization of Contemporarymedical students’ moral life. In the third, all kinds of factors which caused the phenomenonare analyzed as below included: personal factors, family factor, social factor, school education,moral education itself of complexity. And the fourth part, Summary theoretical basis of moraleducation pattern of the unity of knowing and doing. It sums up thought and theory of theunity of knowing and doing of ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign from Confucius toBandura. The last part, From China’s national conditions, it was build that moral educationpattern of the unity of knowing and doing, including basic idea, principle of moral education,the content of moral education, implementation method, moral education evaluation, etc.
