The purpose of the standard of the ordinary high school chemistry curriculum is to cultivate the scientific ability of the students′. Based on the students ' development,and from the three dimensions of knowledge and skills, process and method, the attitudes and values,,this thesis emphasizes the cultivation of promoting the students' scientific ability. The new concept, new ideas and new methods that is suggested by the standard of the chemistry curriculum put forward a new challenge for the teaching and using of high school chemistry.The core of the compiling of the chemistry compulsory textbook of Shandong Scientific Press is problem-solving, and exercises is an important part of the textbook. It is worth discussing whether the textbook embodies this core thoughts, or to what extent it meets the needs of the students both in study and in development, or whether it reflects the aim of the three dimensions. Thus, it is necessary to study the compiling of the exercises of the new textbooks.Currently, in the research of curriculum and teaching material, most of us will pay more attention to the theories of the curriculum, the change of the concept of the textbooks and the reforms of the classroom teaching, rather than the research of the exercises. There is not enough research in other aspect either, such as how to undrestang the concept of the exercises, how to re-understand and re-position the function of the exercises, and how to fulfill its functions completely how to use the given exercises of the new textbooks.After consulting materials and compared with the studies of both at home and abroad, this thesis gives a complete and systemtic analysis to the chemistry compulsory textbook of Shandong Scientific Press. It also summarizes its functions and characters, especially the new ones;According to the questionnaire survey, we have a better understanding about the current situation of the chemistry compulsory textbook of Shandong Scientific Press. Combined with the actual situation of our school, we put forward the teaching strategy of the exercises in the textbook.;At last, the thesis gives the suggestions of how to use the exercises in accordance with the questions existed in the survey.First, it introduces the theoretical basis of the research from the four aspects of defination,function,type and principle of compiling.As for the analysis of the compiling of exercises of the chemistry compulsory textbook of Shandong Scientific Press, we make an exposition of the thesis. from the three aspects of function, type and characters of the exercisees. There are some new functions of the exercises(such as the function of preview, the function of the three-dimension, the function of self-reflection and self-evaluation, the function of development and improvement of classroom teaching). There are also some new exercises(such as practical exercises, open exercises, developing exercises, etc).There are some new characters( such as the strengthen subjectivity, the attention of the scientific research, the system of exercises, the question-oriented study method, etc).From the statistic of the chemistry compulsory textbook of Shandong Scientific Press, we can see that the compiling of the exercises is very successful. More importantly, it provides the factual basis of the improvement of both the compiling of exercises and the teaching strategy.According to the statistics,and combined with the teaching practice,from six points the thesis expounds the teaching strategy of the chemistry compulsory textbook of Shandong Scientific Press.At last, the thesis points out the existing problems and deficiencies in the research,and puts forward the suggestions of how to compile exercises from the points of basic, hierarchy, creativity,amount of exercises,and amount of examples. The innovation of the thesis:It puts the questions in the textbooks into the exercises. It makes a survey about the chemistry compulsory textbook of Shandong Scientific Press and it has got a favourable effect.
