In the recent 30 years, efforts have been stepped up to cross border between economics and anthropology. "Where do the organizational systems of economic life come from?" is always the bone of contention.School of transaction cost which is a branch of institutional economics has the tendency to explain the issue by functionalism. In addition, the school is founded on "rational individual behavior" and it makes the real actor scientification and atomization, hence, it does not only ignore the differences among the real actors, but also neglect the function of primary group, cultural background and social relation to mould the organizational order of economic life. The theoretical defect makes the school cannot give a convincing explanation on "how does the system generate".On the contrary, in anthropological view the differentiating actors (merchants) are linked with their ownership of primary groups, cultural backgrounds and social relations as well as the economic behavior is embedded back into social life by using the social network analysis of concrete practice. I expect to achieve a more complete interpretation on "Where do the organizational systems of economic life come from" by a more reasonable theoretical presupposition. The basic theoretical frame: 1. Economic action is a kind of social action.2. "Market" is both the organizational system of economic life and the fundamental field of social action.3. The market trading order (economic system) is constructed by various social relations which connect interpersonal interaction and identification relation through skills and operations in daily life.4. Social network is stratified, flowing and changing. The main structure:The researching problem and important theoretical thread are put forward in the introduction. Efforts are made to shape a network analysis view centered on practice as the theoretical frame of the paper.Chapter one begins the case study of silk street jewelry market. It introduces the background, describes the research object and shows the daily life of silk street jewelry market in order to present the interactive situation- survival condition and different relations between merchants- in the later part of the paper.Chapter two is the core part. It explores several mechanisms in real market structuring, including caste system formed by "La Tuan" (organize tourist group to buy products), trust and trading mechanism built by underlying rules as well as the networking mechanism presenting by network construction. Chapter three concludes the case study. It integrates the analysis of interaction and relations in the former parts of the paper so as to abstract them into the exploration of market system and structure.Chapter four responses the rational issues rose in the introduction and points up the insufficiency and problem to be further studied.
