Study Of Educational Virtual Communities A Sense Of Belonging

With the development of educational virtual community,its theory and application are paid more and more attention in recent years.Community attachment of educational virtual communities emphasizes the psychological state of all members of the community,which consist of members' identification of community as well as their individual emotion,such as devotion, affection and attraction to the virtual community.The formation of community attachment will promote members of community to participate in community activities actively,to a large extent,it satisfied the community members' psychological,physiological and self-development. Community attachment is bonds about the formation of the educational virtual communities,is the important factors to defend the existence and the development of the educational virtual communities,and is the soul of the community.This paper defines the concepts of community attachment in educational virtual communities and explores its theoretical basis.Then it explains the analytic level about community attachment in educational virtual communities,which is divided into three parts:affective community attachment,continuous community attachment,normative community attachment.The relationship between them is inter-related,at the same time are the mutual promotion and mutual influence.Affective community attachment is the most basic which decides the formation of continuous community attachment,but also is influenced by continuous community attachment and normative community attachment.Secondly,in Qu Fu Normal University,about 81 undergraduates are conducted a survey. Drawn from the survey,the satisfaction of the community of the learners,is the decisive factor to formation community attachment.Community cultural factors,teachers and learners are an important part which affects community attachment;the length of time online,good or bad about community relations,the degree of participation in community activities have a positive correlation with between strong and weak about community attachment,but not a major factor affecting it.Finally,this paper introduces five different tactics for enhancing community attachment to educational virtual community.
