The Generalization Of Human Relationships In Attachment Theory' And Its Application Significance

Someone feels comfortable in human relationships, but others feel pain in it. Attachment theory tells us the reasons on it. This theory is raised by Bowlby and comes from the Theory of Object Relations. As the viewpoint of Psychoanalysis all along, this theory also pay attention to the early suffer, especially the infant-mother relationships. The early relationship with mother could form an "internal working mode" in the mind of children. It's anticipation to others. This mode will work in other relationships, especially in intimacy relationships after growing up. A large amount of researches indicate that the quality of Early Attachment will make an important impact on the personality and mentality in adulthood.The generalization of human relationships in attachment theory is about the relation between Early Attachment and Human Relationships. This paper proposes a generalization of human relationships in attachment theory. This generalization is to explain the impacts on human relationships by early attachment, these impacts includes: fellowship, romantic relationship and so on.There is little research on the theory mechanism of Theory of human relationships in attachment. This research introduces the theory of Suggestion to explain the mechanism for the first time. It is based on the opinion as followed: children are good at apperceiving indirect meanings; the impact on children by caregivers is not direct. So, Suggestion works in the course of the formation of attachment.Generally thinking, Bowlby's theory is further from Classical Psychoanalysis than object relation school. This study introduces a viewpoint that Attachment Theory is a regression to Classical Psychoanalysis. Both in theory and application, the two theories have some similar points. They are complementary to each other.As the quality of Early Attachment has so large an impact in the personality and mental health, we should pay more attention on its application significance, to remind the parents to pay attention to the cultivating for secure attachment. In this paper, I give some advices on the infant rearing and mental consulting.
