On The Training Of College Students Rule Of Faith

To carry out the law ruling and build a country ruled by law, it is necessary to arouse the public awareness of the main body, civilian awareness and rights awareness, to attract the public's attention on their own independent personality,freedom and benefits and to make the rights-based concept take a central role in their law-ruling concept, And thus stimulating their trust, belief and respect on law with hot emotion, and further cultivate virtually their loyalty belief to the rule of law, which are similar to a devout religious belief. This devout faith will lead to the formation of the modern spirit of rule of law for it will transform the rule of law into a spirit of a nation, thus speeding up the completion of the historical mission to set up a law-ruling society.University Students are in a age which is the crucial period for the formation of world view, which also is an important period for the formation of good social ethics, behavioral habits and healthy personality, so their brief in the rule of law has a great impact on the proceed of building a law-ruling society of China. The cultivation of university students'belief in the rule of law is the requirement of the modernization of the legal system as well as the need for the university students to be qualified successors.This paper will focus on the exposition of the following three parts:The first part analyze the meaning of brief in the rule of law and the necessary for the cultivation of that brief. According to the basic opinion of the domestic and foreign scholars,writers of classical Marxism on the rule of law and brief on rule of law, I hold the view that the brief in the rule of law is people's subjective certitude towards the value of law-ruling and a organic unity of various kinds of psychological elements like the recognition, emotion and evaluation on the rule of law. Belief in the rule of law is mainly embodied in the pursuit of supremacy of law, legal equality, fairness and justice, democracy and freedom, power, protection of human rights,social harmony, etc. The cultivation of brief in the rule of law is the spiritual cornerstone for the realization of a true law-ruling society ,it is also a necessary psychological base for effective function of the respective phases of social legislation, administration, justice and supervision in modern law-ruling society.The second part analyze the status quo of university students'brief in the rule of law , as well as problems arise and reasons. This paper introduce the status quo from both the positive and negative sides and make a detailed analysis on the phenomenon of lacking of brief in the rule of law among university students, it then find that there are five major elements that affect this phenomenon, namely: the laggard traditional Chinese concepts like the rule of man, less emphasis on law, the interruption of judicial corruption, the surging problems in a society in transition, the deficiency of the schools education of the rule of law, the impact of home education on the development of university students, the university students problems perse.The third part analyze how to cultivate the belief in the rule of law among university students. First, we should create a social environment , which require our government to speed up the reform on political system and enhance the conception of democracy and rule of law; second, we should enhance and improve school education on the rule of law and make the school education the main front for the cultivation of the belief in the rule of law by changing the education philosophy, perfecting the law education system and improving the education methods; third, we should lay emphasis on family education and exert an imperceptible influence on the promotion of the cultivation of the belief in the rule of law., and finally, we should pay attention to the function of students'initial effort and the role of propaganda and public opinion.At last, I summarize the main points of this paper and call upon to achieve the great target"to rule the country by law and establish a socialist law-ruling country"on the base of the effort to cultivate the belief of rule of law among university students.
