Jiangsu Province Universities New Pe Curriculum Implementation Survey And Analysis

By using the methods of documentaries,questionnaire investigation and interview investigation,the paper researched the development of the P.E.course include the increasing events mainly in physical education.The research investigated the change of the increasing P. E course from the year 1999 to 2005 in 23 universities and colleges,the percent of students who choice the increasing events in P.E course,the number and the percent of the teacher who teach the increasing events etc.The research also studied the effects of these courses in education.The results shows that the P E course of the increasing events had more effective in physical education,mainly embodied such aspects that the students mastered more kinds of movement skills,took part in exercises more positively,obtained more effectiveness of exercises more positively and participated in the activities about sports more usually.But the P E course of the increasing events had the poor development and were lack of attention in recent years,so this paper proposed that universities and colleges should have more teaching personnel,increase the teaching period of these courses and pay more attention to them.
