Beijing Middle School Students Consumption Status Of Research

Consumption,as a link of social re-production,takes an important part in social development of economy.This essay puts focus on consumption features of students of middle schools----a consumption group with dependence and no income,and analyzes its reasons,states the strategy of inducing their appropriate consumption.The goal of this essay is to help students foster the sound values and outlook on life,so that the educator can induct the students in consuming specially.Therefore,the whole social environment will be better and the consumption style will be also healthy.This essay conducted a sampling survey of students from middle schools through the combination of questionnaire and interview.The result showed that the consumption features of students from middle schools as follow:1.In the field of consumption ideas:treat diligence and frugality as virtues,regard money rationally,and like to try new products.2.In the field of consumption motives:practical consumption motives,many looking for characteristics,common in beauty-searching,not pursuing big brands and love fashion.3.In the field of consumption level:high consumption level in general,family income is directly proportional to consumption level of students.4.In the field of consumption structure:consumption of living takes a big part.In addition,there are no differences between the middle school students with different situation.The essay explained that the reasons of consumption of middle school students in Beijing are affected by their developmental phase and the objective environment.This essay stated the solutions of inducing middle school students to appropriate consumption from two sides,which are,put emphasis on educating and inducing the group consumption behavior of middle school students,and strengthen the education and induction of individual consumption behavior.Furthermore,the essay explained that in the group side,we need to optimize social consumption environment,to induce to build up scientific ideas of consumption.In the individual side,parents should pay attention to teach by words and deeds, provide their children appropriate living fees,and choose the right methods and ways to educate them.
