It has being thousands of years for our country to be engaged in the education activity. During the time, educational psychology has raised concerns, what having a reflection to this such as works, words and actions form numerous thinkers. It is certain that, if we"scoop out"the relevant thought among which, what grate advantages will be! That is to say, it will provide theoretic instruction and practical material for Chinese education psychological research and practice. But for such a long time, domestic educational psychologists have been looking forward to abroad, be not to study from Soviet, be attach with western countries, is the moon turns perfect round in foreign countries? Seldom of people pay attention to traditional educational psychological thoughts of our own country. Just from the 80's last century, with the preparation and organization of elder generation psychologists, such as Pan Shu and Gao Juefu, more and more scholars do researches on the realm, of course have been made more and more results. Among whom is my tutor: Professor Yan Guocai.Gu Yanwu is the patriotic scholar who enjoys equal popularity with Wang Fu Zhi , Huang Zongxi between Ming and Qing Dynasty。He has very deep attainments and has made great achievements equally in spheres of confucian classics,history, philosophy, geography, literature and other academic field .However,Gu's reputation is great,so far for his academic research,especially his educational psychology research, the breadth and depth are very limited, there are very few quantity of works. That is the meaning and value of this research about GU YanWu.The paper makes a systematic exposition of Gu Yanwu's educational psychological thoughts. First of all, we introduce his life history, study and teaching history, which include the research experiences and the main works. Then analyze Gu Yanwu's education psychological thoughts in four aspects. Firstly, we expatiate three basic viewpoints of education psychological thoughts:"the doctrine of original goodness of human nature","the doctrine of positive action"and"the doctrine of learning and to know". Secondly, we summarizes learning psychological thoughts of Gu Yanwu. This part includes the significance of learning, the course, the psychological states in study, and the principles and methods of learning. Thirdly, we probe into Gu Yanwu's moral educational thoughts, which include four parts: the connotation and importance of moral education,the relationship between moral education and the economy,the course, which has four phases of moral education, also the principles and methods in moral education. Finally, we dig for differential psychological and teacher psychological thoughts of Gu Yanwu, including general differences, differences in human nature, and personality differences.Among teacher psychological thoughts, we display the social value and character of teacher.
