Huang Zongxi is a great torchbearer, eximious historian and famous educationist in 17th century. In the prophase of Qing Dynasty, Sun Qifeng, Li yong and Huang Zongxi were called"The earliest three Confucians of country". From the telophase of Qing Dynasty to the present age, people called Gu Yanwu, Wang Fuzhi and Huang Zongxi"The three great thinker of Ming Qing Dynasty". It is obvious that Huang Zongxi is a very important scholar in the academic history of Qing Dynasty. In modern times, many scholars and politicians are interested in Huang Zongxi's thought and research it. But most of the published papers about Huang Zongxi are probed into Ming Yi Dai Fang Lu and it's didacticism or limited to introducing and checking his bookmaking and life story. It's very exiguous about his important accomplishment and incisive thought in educational psychology. Huang Zongxi engaged in teaching about sixty years and he accumulated abundant education psychological thought in such a long time. Furthermore, he left behind a series of monographs which contain rich education psychological thought. If we can analyze and summarize these materials, it will provide theoretic instruction and practical material for Chinese education psychological research and practice.This paper first introduces Huang Zongxi's life history, study and teaching history, research history and his important bookmaking. Then, it analyzes Huang Zongxi's education psychological thought in four aspects. Firstly, this paper expatiates two basic viewpoints of education psychological thought: one is"Human's naturalness is kind"and the other is"Acquiring knowledge from heart and from study". Secondly, it summarizes study psychological thought of Huang Zongxi. This part includes the significance of study, the course of study, the psychological states in study, the principles and methods of study. Thirdly, it probes into Huang Zongxi's moral education in four aspects. This part includes the connection of morals and wisdom, the course of moral education, the principles and methods of moral education. Finally, it digs for Huang Zongxi's difference psychological thought and teacher psychological thought, including the differences between human nature and object nature, the individual differences of mentality, the causes of individual differences, teaching students in accordance of their aptitude, teacher's status and teacher's character.
