Based on the combination of Chinese teaching and aesthetics, the subject of this article is mainly on the aesthetic strategy applied to Chinese teaching. With Wang Guowei's introduction of aesthetics and Cai Yuan Pei's advocation of aesthetics education thought, the past 1980' s witnessed the booming of aesthetics as well as aesthetic education in subjects including Chinese teaching, which turned out to be an important research task for us teachers. So far great achievements have been made in this aspect due to the efforts made by theorists and teachers.The article, aimed at collecting inner factors connecting Chinese teaching in the middle school and aesthetics, presents a survey of the development of aesthetic education in Chinese teaching by providing the necessity and importance of encouraging this thought. Besides, combined with abundant teaching practice, the article tries to illustrate the application of aesthetic education strategy in such respects as poetry, prose, classical literature, essay, novel, drama and composition writing to enrich and further our present knowledge of aesthetic education in Chinese teaching, hoping to raise more concern about this subject.The sensitivity and profundity of aesthetics is the goal of this research, covering such contents as follows:1.to create an art atmosphere filled with aesthetics. To be more specific, it involves creating an emotional atmosphere based on the teaching content to move the students, arousing their interests by using various teaching methods and encouraging the students to consider by questioning.2.to guide the students to appreciate the works independently. That is, to instruct the students to appreciate the words and expressions the author used, the unique writing techniques the writer applied as well as the particular backgrounds the story was set in so as to have a better understanding of the works.3. to inspire the students to upgrade their aesthetics. It includes deepening the students' understanding by comparing and spotting new aesthetic angel to better the students' comprehension and encouraging the students to accumulate to further their aesthetics.4. to conduct creative practice on the basis of Chinese aesthetics . It aims to make good use of the students' imagination and encourage them to voice themselves and improve their power of expressions. Anyway, the power of words and expressions is the important sign of creative aesthetics.The essay also based on three levels for the training and cultivation of Chinese aesthetics in the middle school, that is, to appreciate, to admire and to create aesthetics, tries to be logical and sensible. In the research process, a variety of lively teaching examples are provided to be used as circumstantial evidence for some related theories. The subject of Chinese is rich in cultural connotation, which makes it an important factor in developing the students' aesthetics and finally shaping their characters. On this point, this topic is well worth raising whenever it comes to its theoretical meaning or the practical use.
