Ancient Chinese poems, our country culture art treasures,which is elected to the classical poetry in the high school language teaching material contain the massive literature value and educational value. And high school students, whose abstract thinking rapidly develop, have a strong awareness of autonomous learning. Teaching can promote students' aesthetic appreciation ability with the help of classical poetry and humanities cultivated manners, etc. However, due to the orientation of exam-oriented education and high school teaching of ancient Chinese poems stylized, and many other factors, most of students studying ancient Chinese poems is in a passive state. At this stage,high school teaching status quo of ancient Chinese poems awaits to improve.Theory of reception aesthetics emphasizes the participation of the reader,text meaning, the construction of value and the subjectivity role of reader in the reading appreciation activities,which provides the theoretical basis to activate the students' main body participation and new possibilities for high school teaching of ancient Chinese poems. Therefore, in the high school teaching activities of ancient Chinese poems, the introduction of reception aesthetics theory is of great significance. The paper is based on the theory of reception aesthetics, and unites concrete text and teaching practice of high school poems, and explores the feasibility of high school teaching of ancient Chinese poems.Paper main body is divided into three parts. The first part: based on the theories of reception aesthetics such as "to readers", "excepting view" and "response-inviting structure",analyzing the problems in high school teaching of ancient Chinese poems. The second part: discussing the similarities among the reception aesthetics theory,new curriculum theory and the aesthetic characteristics of ancient Chinese poems. The third part: based on the theories of reader-centered,summoned structure, and anticipated vision,exploring the specific strategy of high school teaching of ancient Chinese poems. To analyze the specific text or teaching case with teaching practice and discuss the strategies of high school teaching of ancient Chinese poems: Putting the idea of respecting students' subjectivity in the important position; Broadening the students' expected visions; Guiding students to focus on the text of "blank" and "uncertainty" and encouraging the student to carry on the multiple interpretations, up to continuously develop the students' ability of aesthetic appreciation and constantly improve their humanities quality.
