With the development of economic globalization and the increasingly frequent international exchanges and more and more intense competition for talent, English has become indispensable communication tools to face contemporary China of the constantly opening up. The age of English learner has become younger and more and more kindergartens, parents and communities have paid attention to English learning.Under this background and based on Chinese second language teaching reform, teaching English immersion as an innovative research project has achieved fruitful results. The project built on the basis of scientific experiments from the outset. Teaching experiment in promoting the continuous development of practice proved that teacher is the key factors and further development of the experimental progress. The development of English Immersion depends on the level of teacher quality. This is the vacancy of the study but urgent problem. Therefore, the study of professional quality of English immersion teachers and propose appropriate recommendations to improve the quality, has great significance to promote the further development of Immersion experiments.Based on existing research for teacher professional quality, through long-term participation in observation and discussion of English immersion teaching in kindergarten, as well as to be a practice teacher of the English immersion experimental class, the article investigates English immersion teacher of main kindergarten and interviews with relevant teachers in Xian, from the teacher's basic situation, professionalism, specialized knowledge, specialized ability and continuing education demand. Through investigation we found that, Xian Children English immersion teachers have higher ideals, better professional dedication, higher teaching efficacy and better grasp of English education expertise. Professional competence of teachers meet the basic requirements of English Immersion Teaching.They need to further regular training in teaching methods, skills training, and writing paper.We also found some problems:teacher gender imbalance, teaching philosophy has not fully been implemented; teachers are lack of childhood education theory and research theory; spoken English need to be improved; teachers can not make better use of resources for parents; teaching ways need further improvement, teaching methods need to be further improved; teachers are weak of research capacity. In view of problems which are discovered there are several proposed suggestion show to improve the specialized qualities of kindergarten English Immersion teachers in Xian:to strengthen specialized emotion quality of English immersion teachers; to deepen teaching philosophy of English Immersion teachers; to strengthen the study of the teacher specialized knowledge and raise of the specialized ability; to strengthen the raise of the teacher reserve force.
