In the community filled with local and foreign residents, and residents of different races, the residents who belong to various nationalities and races bear notable differences in language, cultural background and customs as well as ways of life, which is the element leading to conflicts. Nowadays, along with the wide spread of globalization in social life, the integration and conflict between cultures are not merely a problem which the overseas group should face with, but also a urgent problem for those who want to structure a diverse culture in a cosmopolitan city.Wangjing district of Beijing is a community full of multi-races and multi-nationalities, among which South Koreans take the majority while Korean nationality take the same position in China's multiracial group. In Wangj ing area, the relationship between South Koreans and Korean nationality can not be put apart. The mass dwelling of the former in this area attracts the latter and in turn the latter also creates better living surroundings for the former. Since they have contacts, the hard feelings is inevitable. The key is that both should try their best to diminish the hard feelings and strengthen mutual understanding to get a win-win situation.Through a thorough survey and study on the relationships of multi-races and multi-cultures and especially on the relationship between Koreans in China and South Koreans, A Survey on the Relationship Between Korean Nationality and South Koreans in Wangjing District of Beijing mainly focuses on the basic trends among different nationalities and races in this area, and would put forward measures on living in harmony and resolving conflicts as well as providing a helpful lesson for the harmonious development of multiracial and multinational communities. The article consists of introduction, main body and conclusion.The introduction mainly describes the purpose and significance of this research, relevant research developments, major content of the research, and the approaches they have used.The first chapter outlines the urban construction and high-speed urbanization proceedings in China since the government carried out the reform and opening-up policy, and also elaborates the process of the development of Wangjing district.The second chapter deals with the frequent communication between China and Republic of Korean in the field of politics, economy and culture as well as a great number of South Koreans in Wangjing since 1992, and then discusses the subjective and objective factors of the formation of "South Korean Street" in Wangjing district.The third chapter sketches the drastic movement in Korean nationality and the reason why Wangjing formed the largest region of Koreans in Beijing after 1978.The forth chapter mainly discusses the relationship between Koreans in China and South Koreans in Wangjing district, and also inquires into the proper way to deal with the problems of how to strengthen communication, improve mutual understanding, and minimize the barrier.As a conclusion, it sums up the inevitability of interraction between Koreans in China and South Koreans, and points out that they should make their own contribution to build a harmonious Wangjing community, since they are the two major groups in the multiracial and multinational Wangjing district.The feature of this essay lies in its object of study, which is about South Koreans as foreigners and Korean nationality as minority groups in China in the local community of multiraces and multinationals, and talks about their relationship. The countermeasures and suggestions which intends to intensify their communication, promote mutual understanding as well as dwindle their estrangements and conflicts will be helpful in terms of how to choose a proper way to deal with the relationships between various races and cultures in local communities where multi-cultures have taken a prominent position.
