Chinese reform and opening-up have helped, Chinese economy develop rapidly and the social environment to change. The continuous improvement of opening and internationalization make Beijing an international metropolis, an attractive city for native and foreign people to settle down. Beijing’s various advantages and reputation also attract many people to the city. Unlike many western countries, Korea and China developed official diplomatic relations in August24th1992. The two countries have communicated with each other frequently since then. Due to the frequent communication between the two countries, there are so many similarities between these two countries.Although there are some common ideas, there are numerous between Korea and China. Under the state-led urban development after2000, satisfying flats, multinational institutions and supermarkets tailored for foreigners have sprung up in Wangjing district. More and more Korean settle down in Wangjing. Wangjing district has turned into an international foreign urban community with Korean accounting for a larger proportion. As a community with many immigrants, Wangjing faced some problems due to the commencement of various adaptive immigrant behaviors, lifestyles and interpersonal relationships. For examples, local people accepted Koreans friendly in the. However, some people in the districts started having xenophobia due to the lack of multicultural inclusiveness.In this paper, we will provide a Korean perspective to further study the Koreans living in Korean community in WangJing. We will examine why the Korean town appeared in Wangjing, what problem arose in the process of Korean integration with the locals, and how to solve these problems. We will first discuss the topic, background information, implications, and ways to research and innovate. Secondly, we will briefly introduce the research conditions in China domestically and globally. Then, we will state the theories applied in Chapter2about the overview of development in Wangjing and Korean Town. We will the focus on Chapter3to5to analyze the fusion status and conflicts among Korean living in Wangjing and local people and proper solutions to be put forward in connection with the problems in the fusion process based on200questionnaires, lastly we will provide a summary and reflections of the entire paper the inspired us to put forward the shortage of this essay.
