| The Direction issued by Chinese communist party and the state council point out that strengthening and improving the work of ideological and political education; improving college students' ideological and political quality possess a significant and profound strategic significance. Strengthening and improving ideological and political education in colleges and promoting college students'development in an all-around way is an eternal motif for colleges in a socialist country. This paper made a comprehensive and systematic study of Marxist theory on the overall development of the people and explored the dialectical relationship between the ideological and political education and the overall development of people; at the same time, it reconsidered the new problems under the background of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, with the theory of human overall development as the guidance and proposed countermeasures to innovate the work of ideological and political education and to improve college students' overall development. All of this was done to improve the common purpose , pertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political education and finally improve the development of college ideological and political education work. |
