On The Strengthening Of The Patriotic Education Of Universities For Nationalities

The patriotism education is the core of education of ideological and political, is the most brightly-colored banner to inspire and encourage people to work together, is the great drive to unite the national spirit to promote economic, political, cultural and social development, also is the spiritual support for the cause of national rejuvenation. The patriotism education is an old but also changing topic. The patriotism education in universities for nationalities is a new topic with characteristics of the times. The universities for nationalities are the cradle to train promising ethnic minorities, and thus take a special place in China's education system. As students in universities for nationalities are the future architect and main force for ethnic minority areas, the effect of patriotism education for those students will have a direct impact on China's social stability and future development.There is 13 universities for nationalities in China. This article takes Minzu University of China as an example for its famous geographic balance and diverse nationalitie, and adopts the method of field trip to study the patriotism education in universities for nationalities. This article takes the standpoint of questionnaire, the result of field trips and the current situation of patriotism education in universities for nationalities to analyse the factors that effect patriotism education with the hope to make out the ways to conduct patriotism education. The article sums up the manners of patriotism education applicable to all universities for nationalities in order to solve the problems faced by patriotism education in universities for nationalities, and finally achieves the goal of ideological and political education.This thesis does possess creative views, for instance, the patriotism of students in universities for nationalities. The young college students harbour the sentiment of patriotism with the influence of long-time education, but the problem is that they do not get the chance to show it or realize it. When talking about the effects of teachers on students' patriotism, the article pays special attention to the role of teachers. Meanwhile, the influence of student clubs should also be emphasized according to the experiences of Minzu University of China. In terms of the role of student's advisor, the best way would be one-to-one to solve students problem. Through those creative points, the thesis aims at promoting patriotism education in universities for nationalities and the development of ideological and political education in those universities.
