Evaluation System Of Ideological And Political Education, Research, And Quality Standards

The ideological and political education for the college students is an important part of higher education. As emphasized by Recommendation to Further Strengthening and Innovating Ideological Education for College Students issued by the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council, the ideological and political education for college students shall be regarded as a critical factor of the assessment on the running of colleges and accordingly a component of the assessment system of the colleges? CPC construction and education.This paper insists on the standpoint of dialectical materialism, sets foot on the practice and starts from the status of ideological and political education in colleges. By means of qualitative and quantitative methods, it takes the statistical analysis, participant observation and in-depth interview on the status of ideological and political education. Depending on the actual development status, it establishes an evaluation system and quality standard of ideological and political education in colleges. It also takes a study on the relationship among the ideological and political education activities, its quality standard and its evaluation system, and accordingly discusses the relationship between the evaluation system and quality standard of ideological and political education in colleges.For the ideological and political education, any reasonable evaluation scheme should be characterized by comprehensiveness, dynamics, correlatability and systematicness. In addition to the scientific evaluation on the overall effects of the ideological and political education, the reasonable scheme should take the exact evaluation on the ideological and political performance of the educated people. Meanwhile, the scheme should be helpful for the establishment of the quality standard. Under the guidance of the theoretical thought of"all-round development of human being", this paper innovatively adopts the"people-oriented"opinion to build up the evaluation system, taking the educators, educated people and education environment as the primary factors. For the quality standard, the language of expression should be exact, namely the exact connotations and clear extension. Another innovation of this paper is to make out the quality standard of ideological and political education by integrating ISO9001:2000 and the specific situation of ideological and political education.
