In the past two decades, with the significant growth of Chinese economic development and national strength, the pace of national defense modernization has accelerated noticeably. Most troops have been equipped with new weapons in which new technology and new material has been widely used. Therefore, the consistency checking for high reliability, long-life quality and batch production has become the most important research content outside the equipment itself. As a basic part of the whole equipment, military electronic components has been at the stage of multi-batch production, multiple specifications, small volume production for a long time, that makes process stability and reliability of the product become one of the bottlenecks restricting the development of high-tech equipment. The traditional approaches such as first-inspection, routing-inspection, self-inspection, while-receiving sample test, life reliability test, screening test, cannot fully play a safeguarding role in batches stability and the control of production process, so the failure rate of the components products can not to achieve the desired state.This paper introduces the research background and research status at home and abroad, and presents the characteristic analysis of the military institute, features and difficulties of military production process. Combined with the operation of batch-production research projects, the paper also emphasizes on the necessity for implementation of statistical process control (SPC), and introduces relative theories in details in the fields of quality management, process control theory, statistical process control, quality and reliability evaluation techniques and etc. After the analysis and comparison of the implementation of statistical process control (SPC) in batch-production research project, technology in process improvement and statistical process control has been used in the process of batch production research to a product, and then we select the typical procedure and process its data, and explain how statistical process control (SPC) play the guiding role for process improvement, quality control in the process of production, also ensure consistency of product quality and high reliability while batch production capacity has been improved. Even more, we analyze practical effect afforded by the process improvement in batch production research and the implementation of statistical process control (SPC).The cases introduced in this article have certain representation, therefore, which provides a reference to the implementation of other projects and its quality control.
